On Friday, May 23, the 9th-grade students presented Echoes of Our History, a theatrical production that took the audience through several significant episodes of Mexico’s history, from pre-Hispanic times to the present day.

The play featured moments such as the richness of indigenous civilizations, the struggle for independence, the events of October 2, 1968, and scenes reflecting contemporary Mexican life. Each part was performed with clarity, intention, and strong commitment from the cast.

One of the production’s strengths was its balance between serious themes and well-placed humor, which helped the audience engage with the content in a dynamic and accessible way. This contrast added rhythm and kept the performance engaging throughout.

The use of projected visuals also stood out, seamlessly integrated into the set design. These images added context and depth without distracting from the students’ performances.

The result was a well-executed production that combined historical content, artistic expression, and teamwork. Special thanks to teachers Elizabeth Arellano and María Fernanda Aguado for their leadership and coordination of the project.

Congratulations to the entire 9th-grade class for their dedication and excellent work.
